Creep into the Small Forest to discover some unusual scrap metal animals

The Small Forest is a new exhibition featuring a series of wild animal sculptures by Japanese artist Natsumi Tomita, created with found objects and salvaged scraps.

Using anything from old cutlery and discarded cans to kitchen utensils and buttons, the talented sculptor has managed to playfully reproduce the likeness of some of our favourite animals - a monkey, a snake and even a pair of mice.

The interesting creations are on display at Galerie 412 in Tokyo until mid-September. Here's a selection for you to enjoy. To find out more about the artist, go to Facebook.
