Inspired by the quirks and oddities of humanity and the following quote from Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman: “To suffer fifty weeks of the year for the sake of a two week vacation, when all you really desire is to be outdoors with your shirt off”, Daniel spent a summer exploring Coney Island’s beach and amusement park, photographing the fascinating characters he came across.
Currently based in New York, Daniel grew up in Germany and Portugal. Before starting his career as a director, he worked as a creative at various agencies across the globe. His work has been featured in The Guardian, Mashable and New York Times, and exhibited at the International Centre of Photography.
