Minimalist Music: Classic album covers broken down into minimalist poster designs
Here's a bit of fun for you. Can you guess the classic album covers from this minimalist poster series by London-based Australian designer and art director Nicholas Barclay? Using his trademark style, he has been playing around with the original musical artworks, breaking them down using only one or two shapes. Can you spot The Beatles, David Bowie and Primal Scream?

Deconstructing everything from famous logos to popular cult movies, Nick loves to present us with a challenge, making his designs as minimal as possible with only a hint of recognition.
Each print has the track listing from the album and the release date, artist and record label. To get your hands on one of these limited edition posters, keep an eye on Nick's online shop where he'll be releasing copies soon.
