SBS is looking for an Integrated Producer to join NITV Creative, reporting to the NITV Creative Lead. You'll deliver creative projects, on-air promos and campaigns for NITV and SBS, managing production from concept to delivery – including resources, budgets, schedules and assets. This is a logical next step for an Associate Producer.
NITV Creative is an integrated team within the NITV and SBS Content Division, working closely with the Marketing Division to create and produce marketing campaigns for on-air, digital, social and print. Creative thinking is needed, but this is not a creative role.
NITV launched as the National Indigenous broadcaster in 2007 and joined the SBS network in 2012, becoming available free-to-air to all Australians. Its purpose is to shape Australian identity, amplify First Nations stories and grow its audiences and channels.
What you'll be doing
- Manage end-to-end production of creative projects and campaigns across channels and platforms
- Co-ordinate internal and external resources, workflows and schedules with Creative Managers, the NITV Creative Lead and Audience Marketing
- Manage production budgets and vendor relationships, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for post-production, print, graphics, editorial and music
- Track project progress, keep workflow and finance records accurate, and address risks to keep work on brief and on schedule
- Support accurate, high-quality output while upholding NITV and SBS brand standards and working well across the business
What we're looking for
- At least five years' experience in television, post-production, production or an agency environment
- Strong project management skills, including managing budgets, schedules and production workflows
- Experience with post-production workflows and shoot production
- Excellent organisation and administration skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Current knowledge of production resources and freelancer networks, with experience in project management software such as Jira or Smartsheet; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to learn systems and work with technical teams, are also valued
This is an identified role: applicants must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. This is a genuine occupational requirement under section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
What's on offer
- Salary: a Level 5 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement, with a base salary of A$109,890; remuneration will reflect skills and experience within that framework
- Health care checks
- Salary packaging
- Employee Assistance Program
- Flexible work arrangements
- Discounted national gym membership through the Fitness Passport program
