Iceland From Above: Captivating photography series transforms dramatic landscapes into works of art

When seeking creative inspiration, where better to look than outside your window? The colours, textures, patterns and effects created by nature are unparalleled when it comes to beauty – something that has certainly struck a chord with Germany-based photographer, Kevin Krautgartner.

His series Iceland From Above features contrasting terrains, from green pastures to stormy seas – there's something about a bird's eye view that truly transforms a landscape into art.

Kevin Krautgartner was born in Schwelm, Germany. He graduated from University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund with a degree in photography and graphic design. He has since been living in Wuppertal, where he has mainly been working as a professional photographer and image editor.

His work has taken him to many different countries around the world and some of his series' have received international photography awards.
