Dekoratio Studio rolls up its sleeves to mix together a new identity for I Can Spice

I Can Spice is based on a simple yet brilliant concept: taking lots of different premium spices from around the world and combining them to create special mixes for your food recipes, coffee or even your beer. But before it could launch, the brand needed a new identity, so hired Budapest agency DekoRatio to help.

"Since there will be more than 100 different spices and mixes, we decided to make categories (herbs, general spices, flowers, Indian spices, vegetables, peppers and two different mixes), so each group would have its own design," explained DekoRatio.

"We matched the categories with fitting colours and drew different graphics to each one of them. Our aim was to create a playful and detailed pattern showing plants and typical features of each category, which we can modify anytime (if there will be more categories later). We hope that this playfulness is going to inspire people to use spices in a more courageous way!"
