Tales of Auto Elasticity: Digitally manipulated twisted trucks
UK-based 3D artist Chris Labrooy has created this wonderfully twisted series, Tales of Auto Elasticity, where he gets all kinds of vehicles to do the impossible. With vibrant coloured trucks and cars stretched and distorted to create interesting new shapes, each image gives you a glimpse into Labrooy's warped imagination.

To create these masterpieces, he digitally manipulates already-photographed vehicles, transforming them into unusual sculptures, and then sets them within empty carparks where he matches the subjects with the surrounding architecture. Looking at the clever art forms, the playful vehicles almost seem to be dancing, launching off one another in a curious narrative of auto elasticity.
