Porcelain plates display incredibly detailed portraits by art's greatest master painters
This collection of porcelain plates, depicting extremely detailed portraits by some of the world's greatest master painters, is the handiwork of Matthew Dorabiala.

A student of 3D Design at the Manchester School of Art, the artist holds a passion for product design and painting, stating, "I find my inspiration in the beauty of nature, fascinating human psychology and the old masters' achievements, in particular, the works of Caravaggio and the Baroque artists.
"This plate has been made to fulfil your artistic desires in a new, special way. I chose porcelain because it's one of the most unique materials in the world, and through the centuries is referred to as 'white gold'.
"Amazed by the mystery of the masterpiece 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' by Johannes Vermeer, I decided to create a collection of 100 portraits", some of which you can check out below.
