Inspiring women of the 20th century transformed into charming ceramic planters
From Frida Kahlo and Agatha Christie to Virginia Woolf and Louise Brooks – this charming collection of ceramic planters by Brighton-based Fleur de Carotte pays homage to some of the most inspiring women of the 20th century.

Hand-crafted with porcelain clay, the vases have been fired twice and the glazing is entirely waterproof, making them an ideal gift for anyone who loves to fill their home with plants.
Fleur de Carotte is run by Amandine, a French artist living in Brighton. She said: "I am passionate about art and craft and I love to play with many different mediums. I love ceramics, sewing, embroidery, screen-printing and weaving. My inspiration comes from the wilderness, Art Deco, Memphis Milano and Modernist artists from the 1920s/1930s in Paris."
If you browse Amandine's Etsy shop you'll discover various other planters plus cute ceramic dishes, clay brooches, and even ceramic rings. You can find out more about Amandine's work at www.fleurdecarotte.org.
