Vercel is hiring a Presentation Designer to own presentation design end to end, from strategy meetings to main-stage keynotes, so every deck is a sharp and compelling reflection of its brand and story. The role sits in the Creative/Brand team within Marketing, reporting to the Director of Creative Design, and also covers building scalable presentation systems and working with Design Engineering on internal tools.

What you'll be doing

  • Own presentation design strategy and execution from concept to final delivery

  • Design presentations that combine storytelling, information design and data visualisation

  • Build and maintain a presentation design system with templates, components, layouts, motion principles and guidelines

  • Develop branded presentation frameworks across Google Slides, PowerPoint, Figma and Keynote

  • Partner with Design Engineering to prototype and potentially build internal presentation tools

  • Establish workflows and governance for presentation assets

  • Identify repetitive design tasks and create systems, automation or tooling to reduce them

  • Maintain a consistent visual identity across all presentation materials

  • Work directly with executives and speakers to tailor narratives and visuals

  • Integrate animation, video and interactive elements for high-stakes moments

  • Translate complex technical ideas into clear visuals after researching them deeply

  • Iterate quickly on feedback under deadline pressure

  • Support high-visibility events, including launches, corporate events, customer presentations and keynotes

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years in visual communication, presentation, brand or multimedia design

  • Expert proficiency in Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint and Figma Slides

  • Strong understanding of presentation systems, including templates, components, master layouts and asset governance

  • Experience building scalable, on-brand self-service templates for teams with varying design skills

  • Systems-oriented mindset and interest in creative workflows, tooling and automation

  • Experience partnering with design engineers to prototype or build creative tools (highly valued)

  • Experience with multimedia such as audio, video, animation and interactive content

  • Experience developing visual narratives for B2B SaaS, developer tools or technical products

  • Ability to research and translate complex information into clear visual narratives

  • Experience customising presentations for different speakers, audiences, formats and themes

  • Track record of high-impact work for main-stage events and smaller executive or customer meetings

  • Experience collaborating with C-suite executives and senior leaders

  • Portfolio showing a range of presentation work across formats, themes, audiences and visibility levels

  • Evidence of strong project management from concept through delivery

  • Track record of maintaining brand integrity across a broad presentation ecosystem

Bonus if you have

  • Motion design or motion graphics skills

  • Experience building plugins, prototypes, automation or internal creative tools

  • Front-end development understanding or experience working closely with Design Engineering

  • Willingness to take on smaller brand and visual-design projects when time allows

What's on offer

  • Salary: the San Francisco base pay range is US$152,000 – US$209,000; pay outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on location. Total compensation may include benefits, equity and bonus or variable pay eligibility

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity

  • Inclusive healthcare package

  • Learning and growth support, including mentorship and event attendance

  • Flexible time off

  • Gear for the role and a work-from-home budget
