Light Painting: Colourful neon lights brighten up dark landscapes
Photographer David Gilliver creates these stunning light paintings of neon shapes and lights, amazingly without the use of any computer editing.

Created using very long exposures, the photographs are primarily taken at night using various tricks of the trade.
Revealing the secrets behind his technique, Gilliver said: "I use various light tools to create objects within the landscape, and I am present in each image the whole time the photograph is being taken – I remain invisible as I am constantly moving around and never illuminate myself during the exposure. All of the lights are created on location. No post-editing trickery is ever used."
