Andrea Ucini's latest conceptual illustrations that drip with humour and purity

We're huge admirers of Andrea Ucini, an Italian illustrator based in Denmark whom we've featured previously. His conceptual illustrations are often inspired by contrasts and conflicts in arts, literature and politics, where he turns complex ideas into strong but simple visuals that perfectly convey each theme.

He graduated in classical piano and composition at the Music Academy of Florence in Italy but has been working as a freelance illustrator for the last 10 years. Represented by Anna Goodson, most of his work revolves around lifestyle, politics and other editorial themes. To date, his pure and minimalist style has attracted clients such as Wired, Scientific America, Entrepreneur Magazine, LeMonde, UCLA Magazine, Die Zeit and New Scientist.
