Aerial photos by Kevin Krautgartner that show the natural symmetry and patterns of the world

Flying over northern Norway to capture the country's little islands or soaring above the salt fields of Australia to pick out the details and patterns, German photographer Kevin Krautgartner has a near obsession with seeing the world from a different perspective.

Appealing to his quest to find symmetry and form in everything he captures, it's no surprise that he graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund with a degree in photography and graphic design.

His usual work focuses on capturing interesting contemporary architecture in the minimal form. His ongoing series, Reduced to the Max, picks out the appealing lines and colours of buildings in his home country.

More recently, he has travelled further afield to take to the air and apply his usual style to capture both natural and manmade landscapes. From surfers waiting to catch the next big wave to the impact of humanity's agriculture and industry, this latest body of work is also available to buy. Discover more at kevinkrautgartner.com.
