Art on a Postcard is back, giving you the chance to purchase original art without knowing the artist

Art on a Postcard has returned with its annual fine art postcard auction, featuring 600 artworks produced by more than 250 artists hailing from all over the world.

Now in its sixth year, you can expect an exceptional line-up for 2019, but you won't know who's art you're bidding on, as all of the work is anonymous until after the sale.

Featured artists this time include Norman Ackroyd, Jock McFadyen, Vanessa Jackson, Dan Baldwin, Louise Lawler, Florine Démosthène, Timothy Hyman, Jeremy Deller, Joan Snyder, Miya Ando and Helen Beard.

"Matching the artist with the artwork has always been part of the fun," say the organisers. "This is a chance to own a unique mini-masterpiece by a world-class artist at an exceptional price."

The bidding has begun via an online auction and will run until 14 November. All profits will go to The Hepatitis C Trust, so you'll be supporting a good cause, too.
