Temporary light installations symbolise memories past and present by François Ollivier
Throughout our lives, we'll visit many places. Some will stick in our minds to become memories, and others will fade, never to be thought of again.

Photographer François Ollivier from Montreal focuses on the former for his series Memory Lapses. He explains: "Memory Lapses are temporary installations I photograph to revisit places linked to strong memories, past or recent.
"By overexposing reflective material in the process, data becomes absent from the digital file, creating an empty zone in the image that alters reality and distorts our perception, just like time and distance do."
Created over the last six months across three countries, the photographs are a beautiful reflection of our interactions with nature. Discover more at francoisollivier.com.
