Saturday Mosh pays homage to early teenage angst

Do you remember the excitement and sheer rush of energy, angst and rebellion we felt when we became teenagers?

The raw need to vent, let loose and throw ourselves around with other youngsters, preferably to equally angst-ridden music in some dark and sweaty venue somewhere?

British photographer Emily Stein's Saturday Mosh is a series that pays homage to that very sentiment. "A mosh pit is a semi-controlled place to vent. It's somewhere to build up adrenaline and let go of all the troubles of young life. It's physical; it's contact; it's anger; it's aggression – it's celebrating things that are not allowed in polite society."
