Her bold lined drawings of larger-than-life characters with square shoulders and blushing cheeks have become her signature trademark, attracting clients such as Vogue, American Illustration, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Magazine, Diptyque Paris and Rebecca Minkoff.
Originally from Thailand, Hatta is based in New York and Bangkok. She works across various medium, including gouache, crayons, acrylic, embroidery, and linocut printmaking. She also creates linocut paper goods "inspired by fat, internet cats".
We can't get enough of Hatta's work. From her tropical themed backdrops to her liberal inclusion of plants and animals, each illustration tells a story behind her depicted characters. See more of her work at www.pinghatta.com or follow Hatta on Instagram.
