These stunning oil paintings from his series Cityscapes demonstrate his unmistakable style – dark yet atmospheric works, created with using a wide range of techniques including surface staining, the use of solvents to wipe away paint, and the application of broad, gritty marks with an ink brayer.

Mann’s rain-soaked urban portrayals of city life are certainly his most celebrated artworks. But did you know he also paints portraits, still-life and other landscapes? You should definitely check out more of his beautifully vivid paintings on his website.
