C&G takes biomedical scientific imagery and transforms into art for Rockefeller University
New York design studio C&G Partners was recently tasked with highlighting the unusual qualities of The Rockefeller University – a remarkable institution where 24 of its scientists have received Nobel Prizes – through a suite of communication materials including graduate programme booklet, scientific prospectus, campus map, annual report, overview brochure and redesigned website.

To capture the institution’s innovations in bioscience in a compelling way, C&G Partners took actual biomedical imagery generated in the University’s labs and, with the help of watercolour painter Deborah Ross, transformed it into art.
The abstractions lend a beautiful, subdued feel to the university's refreshed print communications, and also allude to the Rockefeller family's longtime support of the arts through philanthropy (as well as David Rockefeller's time as chairman of the Museum of Modern Art).
