Animals in Moiré: Monochrome owls, bats and snakes made up of layering lines
Andrea Minini is an illustrator based in Milan. Her latest series, Animals in Moiré, has enjoyed a lot of attention online, and when looking at these digital illustrations it's easy to see why.

Andrea produces her unusual style of work through layering lines of differing density on Adobe Illustrator.
The result of this process is the collection of 3D-looking monochrome animals, with a depth that reaches far back into the image to bring the animals to life.
This isn't the first time that Andrea has worked with animals, her last series of work (available to view on Behance), explores the deconstruction of a Lion and Baboon, taking them from bold and colourful illustrations to the initial complex line drawings.
