A number of artists were invited to each create an original piece of art for Rebel Art Auction: Bid For The Truth, relating to or based on facts and figures provided by the environmental activist group. Antony Gormley, Ranny Cooper, Catherine Hyland, Mr Bingo, Michael C. Place, Tom Hegen, Rob Ryan, Christopher Ræburn and Rankin are among the big names who are taking part.

The event will take place at Accept & Proceed's offices in East London tonight and will include a live auction starting at "20:00 sharp". Artworks will also available to buy online following the event.

If you want to support the cause on social media, use the hashtag #rebelartauction. Or to get even more involved, the agency is inviting the wider creative community to create one climate change-themed post per Instagram account. Just don't forget to use the tag.

"The climate crisis is a subject which unites us," says David Johnston, founder of Accept & Proceed. "There are no boundaries. We are stronger together and must actively search out opportunities in order to maximise effectiveness. I ask all leaders in the creative sector to join forces. Unite, take action and amplify our collective power."
