He creates works of art that show our private lives and emotional vulnerability, all with the deliberate intention to move us. Based on different stages of life – from both the beginning and the end – the characters are inspired by photographs of real people.

The frozen life cycles really evoke a lot of shock and emotion, as they are incredibly realistic and thought-provoking. The sculptures suggest so powerfully how vulnerable we truly are. Made from fibreglass, silicone, resin, calcium carbonate and actual human hair, they make a striking portrayal of human beings. To find out more visit samjinks.com.
