Vera van Wolferen's charming miniature sets made out of balsa wood, cardboard and paper
If you need a miniature set for your stop-motion animation, then consider the extraordinary talents of Vera van Wolferen. Using a steady hand, the multidisciplinary Dutch artist meticulously crafts a wide range of different sets, as well as sculptures, out of balsa wood, cardboard and paper.

Coming from a background of fine arts and with a masters in animation, Vera works as an independent artist and freelance set designer and animator. In 2015, she was interviewed by Monocle and named one of the new-generation animators. Here, we share just a selection of her recent works, some of which you can purchase via her online shop.
You can see her work in the flesh at an exhibition entitled A Temporary Parking Space at the TAC Eindhoven, until 24 September 2017. Discover more at www.tac.nu.
