Made in China: Street photographer captures contemporary culture on camera
London-based photographer Chris Lee is one third of art collective, Tripod City. Alongside Charlie Kwai and Paul Storrie, he travels around the world to different countries each year to capture modern culture. The results are then compiled into one book, which offers a combination of photographic styles.

When observing Lee's series, Made in China, it's clear that timing is everything. The mundane verges on surreal, thanks to the often unusual mixture of setting, subject and situation. This is a common theme which runs throughout the photographer's work – illustrated wonderfully in Notting Hill and Comicon.
