Inspired by a studio project where he works at Christopher Doyle & Co in Sydney, and also a blog post from Gabby Lord, he set himself the challenge to create a visual word play every day for 100 days. These were then uploaded to Instagram under the hashtag #100days100wordplays.
Speaking of the project, Stephen said: "I created simple style guidelines for myself, and had two key rules: if I've seen it before, I can't do it, and if it's blatantly obvious, I can't do it. Some are literal, some are lateral, some are illogical, but ultimately it was a satisfying creative challenge to continually create for 100 days."
