Balance is a short film by Outright Films that reminds us to find calm during anxious times
During this time of global anxiety, London-based production company, Outright Films, wanted to share more stories around mental health and the tools people use to find calm. All in the hope it might help others to find theirs.
In this latest film, Balance, we meet Arnaud, a freediver, long-time friend and inspiration. He uses freediving to find balance and calm his mind.
"When I'm facing a corporate world that's made of constant tensions, I've always felt that I needed something to ground me. Freediving gives me the balance that I so desperately need. It peels everything down to the essence, all the noise in the background just disappears," he says.
Directed by Josh Knox and Richard Armitage, produced by Ben Knox and with underwater cinematography by Marcus Greatwood and Adam Slama, it's a calming short film that encourages us to pause and perhaps find something that has the same effect. As Richard puts it, "We feel this film is important now more than ever and is something we are really proud of."
Outright Films specialises in sports and lifestyle, partnering with agencies and brands worldwide and creating content clients such as Red Bull, Gymshark, Estée Lauder and Nike. Discover more at outrightfilms.com.
