Anna Roberts' dreamy pastel coloured artworks inspired by a trip to Portugal
With the warmer months nearly upon us, daydreams of a summer holiday always interrupt our thoughts. For Anna Roberts, she captures these sentiments beautifully in her ongoing body of work inspired by a trip to Portugal.

Throughout the pastel artworks, there's a mixture of subjects, subtly linked, with common themes and colours running throughout. Roberts remarks, "I always find while visiting new places my senses are heightened. When travelling I can be completely present, making it easy to notice all those cool little moments I'd like to keep."
Each piece is hand-painted in pastel on cotton paper. A freelance artist and illustrator, Anna is based in Yorkshire. You can discover more of her work at anna-roberts.com, or follow her on Instagram.
