Pinform: Start-up badge company that crafts limited edition designer pins

If you've been looking for something a little different to add to your coats, cardigans and jackets, then Pinform is a collaboration by graphic designer Samantha Kerr and illustrator Jordan Andrew Carter that you should bookmark.

The small, independent start-up badge company creates wearable, limited edition ranges – kicking off with Collection 01, tied to the abundant theme of time and space. The duo explains: "Pulling shapes and patterns from the cosmos, we were inspired by everything from 18th-century Orerrys to lunar phases. Each pin explores its own variation on this theme through abstraction and colour, forming a diverse yet unified set of pins."

Samantha and Jordan believe there is a growing demand for unique pins and felt there was a gap in the market for wearable, enamel designs: "We decided to create our own which were both affordable and aesthetically well-considered to wear with our everyday uniform."
