Offcut: Sebastian Cox crafts new desk accessories from offcuts of British hardwood

Design studio and workshop, Sebastian Cox, has created a new collection of desk accessories made from offcuts of British hardwood that are too small to be made into furniture.

The collection, simply named Offcut, comprises a candle holder, dishes, trays and pots in an array of colours. Small objects are £22 while larger items cost £28.

As explained: "We ensure that we use every inch, of every board, of timber that we buy by designing efficiently and re-using all our material. Any timber that isn't the right size or shape for furniture, becomes a beautiful and completely unique desk tidy. Any other wood waste is put through our briquette maker."

We particularly like the pen holder. To discover or buy the collection, visit sebastiancox.co.uk.
