Use The Force: Classic Star Wars iconography transformed into alternative poster art
Russell Walks is an American illustrator who spends a lot of his time in a galaxy far, far away... Or at least, that's the impression he gives with his stunning and iconic posters that pay homage to some of the world's most popular culture.

Russell is renowned for creating new artworks using licensed properties from film and television as well as books and music. His impressive list of clients includes Paramount, Time/Warner, Disney, Marvel and LucasFilm, for whom he has produced a wealth of alternative movie posters, advertising content, comic book covers and merchandising material. He is perhaps best known for his marvellous collection of Star Wars artworks, but Russell has also created illustrations for classic superheroes and big franchises such as Harry Potter and Dr Who.
Specialising in both traditional and digital design, he is also a painter and so his illustrations encompass many different types of design and artistic methods. Here we see classic Star Wars iconography transformed into vintage travel posters, retro war propaganda, classic sci-fi and even noir inspired prints.
