Paper Cacti: Illustrator Kim Sielbeck crafts bright coloured paper plants built to last

Are you one of those people who tend to kill plants before you've even had a chance to pot them? If that's the case, then you'll be happy to know there's a solution. These Paper Cacti by Brooklyn-based illustrator Kim Sielbeck will be perfect for those of us who aren't great at keeping plants alive.

Crafted with Paper Mâché, cardboard, polymer clay, paper, styrofoam and clay pots – the bright and colourful creations will be available for sale at MoCCA Festival on 2-3 April 2016.

Kim was born in Alaska, moved all around America in a Coast Guard family, and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York City. When not at her studio in Greenpoint, Kim is probably designing textiles, holidaying, playing surf guitar in her band Puppies, biking around the city, or sailing around New York's harbour. You can discover more of her lush work at kimsielbeck.com.
