Tobias Hall's cheeky artwork for Warburtons' latest campaign, Pride & Breadjudice

London-based illustrator, letterer, designer and mural artist Tobias Hall was recently appointed by WCRS to help with Warburtons' latest campaign; Pride and Breadjudice.

WCRS and Warburtons have developed a reputation for creating blockbuster campaigns, having previously enlisted the help of Sylvester Stallone and The Muppets to help bring their message to life. This time, they called on British comedian and actor, Peter Kay, to create a bread-themed parody of Jane Austen's Victorian classic. The campaign is made up of a TV ad and with a supporting cast of nationwide printed and digital OOH comms.

Tobias was called upon to create both the titles for the TV ad, plus a whole series of Victorian-style posters and billboards, all starring Mr Kay himself, adorned with hand-lettered bread puns, hand-drawn scrolls, ornaments and filigree... even a few cheeky cherubs. "This was a huge amount of fun, so massive thanks goes to the entire team at WCRS & Warburtons for letting me run with it."
