Times Square Reflections: Stefano Gardel shoots the Big Apple's night appeal

When Italian Stefano Gardel isn't working as a chiropractor from his practice in Lugano-Switzerland, he's travelling the world, enjoying taking photographs of the places and people he comes across.

Wet Times Square street at night with neon signs and billboards reflected in puddles, a lone figure walking through the rain-soaked urban landscape

For this particular series, Times Square Reflections, Stefano wanders around one of New York City's most famous landmarks at night, capturing the bright lights reflected in the wet streets. In some cases, he spots a classic American car or yellow taxi cab and finds a way to snap the reflection of the surrounding neon billboards in the windscreens. It's a series that paints a classic picture of the city that never sleeps; one that looks warm and inviting, despite the dreary weather.
