The ups and downs of agency life told through miniature people

Derrick Lin is a senior strategist at advertising agency Resource/Ammirati in Columbus, Ohio. As anyone who works in advertising, his workday is always stressful and chaotic with ridiculous situations thrown at him from both the clients and his coworkers.

Seeing there is no socially acceptable way to complain about work, he started to create imaginary scenes of his agency life work scenarios with the use of his iPhone and desk lamp, taking photographs which he then shares via social media.

With the help of miniature figures, he brings his honest thoughts and feelings about stressful situations to life right on his desk. And each photo is paired with a corresponding caption. Here are just a few examples of his latest creations. Discover more over on Instagram or Tumblr.
