One Sunday in Alameda: Vibrant illustration series depicts the bustle of a busy marketplace
This beautiful set of illustrations is by Colombia-based designer and art director, Paola Escobar. The colourful drawings depict a bustling marketplace in California's Alameda, featuring a range of interesting characters going about their business.

The individual portraits are set against bright shops and apartments, further adding a sense of movement and dynamic activity to the two-dimensional works.
During her career, Paola has collaborated with a variety of clients, including Kleenex and Pernod Ricard, as well as producing designs for editorial publications. Her unique style particularly lends itself to street scenes, and travel documentation. Discover more at facebook.com/paolaescobarilustracion.
