The initiative regularly joins forces with young artists to create unique tapestries that have amazing detail – it's a "unique development in the tradition of printmaking, combining great illustrations with the powerful semiotics of old-school patches", according to Unframed.

Born in 1988 in Utrecht, the hometown of Miffy’s creator Dick Bruna, Lennard is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in Utrecht who has developed an amazing signature style in recent years, which is mostly inspired by his predilection for comics. His drawings look wonderfully minimalistic but when you look more closely, a surreal narrative comes to the surface.

His work has been published in the New York Times, Migrant Journal and Appartamento Magazine. You can discover more of his recent work at www.lennardkok.com.
