Behind Me: Photography series that explores the impact of our childhood memories
In her beautiful series Behind Me, Hungarian photographer Marietta Varga explores our childhood memories and how they impact our personalities and lives today.

Speaking of the thought process behind her work, she said: "Our childhood memories are often forgotten but will remain a part of us forever. Things we did not care about, or simply refused to take notice of, affect our everyday lives whether we like it or not. And then, there's a point when we have to face our real selves. Seeking ways, recognition and understanding – these are the things I'm currently exploring with myself, and I hope to demonstrate this process through my series."
Born in Siófok, Hungary, Marietta is currently studying at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary. Discover more of her beautiful work on Behance.
