A tasty new identity for Roast Fine Foods

Roast Fine Foods is a boutique butcher shop based in Toronto, Canada featuring organic, naturally-raised, and hormone-free meats and products. They recently approached Gladstone Media to create a new brand identity.

"For all the facets of the design process, we wanted to pay homage to the tradition of local boutique butcher shops. Our approach is a mix between 1950s diner style and clean modern design. The vintage style of the typographically set recipes on the walls is juxtaposed with industrial elements like the concrete floor.

"This retro style was used in the promotional film and recipe videos as well, through the use of motion graphics, filters, and typography."
