1. Follow The Sun Necklace by Adriana Chede

Featuring one yellow diamond, Adriana Chede's Follow The Sun necklace symbolises brightness and positivity. As Chede explains, "It reminds us of the warming, rejuvenating sensation of rays washing over our skin, welcoming the sun on each new morning, full of power and light."

3. Swimming Pool Necklace by Tiny Scenic

Currently taking a short break (but back soon) is Tiny Scenic, an independent brand by Jo Strange and Andrew Rees from Winchester, UK. Their handmade jewellery has a "mid-century picture-postcard vibe" and will appeal to those who love the pastel-coloured hues of Miami's Art Deco buildings mixed in with some 1950s Americana.

We love their mid-century little houses in delicate pinks or greens. But for the purpose of this article, we've selected their swimming pool necklace; one that sparks that immediate happy memory of holidays in the sun. Morgan Thomas is the founder of Yam, an Astoria-based jewellery studio that sells unique necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings that are handmade using upcycled materials.
