A visual encyclopedia of 100 of the world's most inspiring women by Sif Nørskov

Danish artist Sif Nørskov has launched a special project on Kickstarter to celebrate 100 of the world's most influential and inspiring women today. Entitled Knowsy Women, it's a proposed visual encyclopedia featuring women from the fields of science, engineering and maths to arts, sports, and adventure.

The series is available in a box as A6 cards with an inspirational quote on the front and a biography with recommendations on the back. You can also get your hands on an A1 print showing all 100 women and A3 prints showing individual women.

"Because the achievements of so many women seem to not have been given the attention they deserve throughout history, I decided to create a project that empowers women," explains Sif. "I hope Knowsy can help some women realise that women have been successful in all walks of life, including in the typically male-dominated STEM subjects."
