Dance was inspired by Burgerman’s characters: "They have such charm and characterful expression that I felt the illustrations could step right off the page and into my wooly world of creations."

Crafted with 100% lambswool, the quirky characters have also been animated to bring them more to life. All photography is by Jonathan Minster. Find out more about the project at jessicadance.com. Or follow Dance over on Instagram.
