Urban Interventions: Colourful murals pop up across Asia and Europe
This colourful collection of street art murals is the handiwork of Chifumi Krohom. Based in Cambodia, the artist has painted these giant scenes, which all feature his signature 'hands', on buildings in his home city, as well as in Denmark and France.

Originally from France, the aim of Krohom's work is to integrate different cultures through art. He is inspired by all aspects of local tradition, whether that be a pattern extracted from the wall of a temple, or a silk scarf found in the labyrinth of a local market.
Sometimes Krohom's hands appear on abandoned houses located close to the jungle, and sometimes they appear on chic restaurants in the busy Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. Others were created during the artist's travels to Nepal.
