Pastel pink paper Barcelona is a crafty, fun and quirky tribute to the city
We love this paper tribute to the Spanish city of Barcelona. The handiwork of Zim & Zou, two French artists based in Nancy, the pastel pink sculpture is akin to the set of a Wes Anderson film.

The artistic duo is composed of Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann. They each studied graphic design for three years, before deciding to focus on creating installations that encompassed handcrafted objects made of tangible materials, such as paper, wood and thread.
With their trade anchored in craftsmanship, Zim & Zou create all of the elements involved in their installations by hand, from drawing to cutting and assembling. Their favourite material is paper, which "gives rise to intricate and colourful sculptures". Paper inspires them for its versatility, infinite range of colours and unique textures.
