Olf de Bruin's illustrative fascination with evolution, mankind and the future

With the wonderful name Olf de Bruin, an unusual style and someone who describes himself as "an illustrator with a great fascination for evolution, mankind and the future", you can imagine the Dutch creative is making a name for himself in the creative industries.

Based in Amsterdam, most of Olf's work includes editorial illustrations for Dutch online journalistic platform De Correspondent. But he also recently created the EP cover for the Dutch band John Coffey.

His latest project – Van Bollebast tot Voortprinter – is an illustrative book about a wonderful and playful future of mankind. An imagined six new species of human beings, evolved and adapted to suit a specific social or scientific setting.

Here we share a selection of his works to give you a flavour of his style. But you can discover more at www.olfdebruin.com.
