London Calling: Lettering installation by Craig Black pays homage to the capital

"London is home to the curious and eccentric, a place of excitement and constant new discoveries," exclaims Craig Black, the Scottish graphic designer, lettering artist and typographer. An impending trip to London sparked his curiosity to experiment with new techniques to create an eye-catching lettering installation to pay homage to this wonderful city.

Creating a 3D canvas that spells out the capital's name, Craig used a palette of yellow, grey, black and white to drip the paint onto the letters. He then allowed the artwork to dry, leaving us with a rather nice personal project. The whole process was filmed for our pleasure.
