Illustrator merges urban landscapes with silhouettes of interesting people
Designer and illustrator Nevena Katalina is someone who is currently obsessed with architectural spaces and elements, introducing such interests throughout her illustration work to merge urban landscapes with silhouettes of interesting people, often female characters.

As you'll discover from this particular selection of artworks, Katalina goes for a geometric approach, offering pleasing lines and angles, all dosed in a wash of satisfying bright colour. She explained: "Architectural space in general for me represents variability of choices in art. Usage of different approaches with angles, shapes, position and movement definitely scale everything in my work. In this series of illustrations I am representing a connection between illustration and portraits."
Based in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, she works for MINT, a marketing and creative agency but is also available for freelance projects. Discover more via Behance.
