Filip Hodas' digital renderings conjure surreal landscapes in candy colours
What originally started as an exercise in the practise of rendering for Prague-based artist Filip Hodas, has resulted in this striking collection of surreal landscapes featuring unique geometric shapes, detailed natural textures and a sickly sweet colour palette.

Combining a mixture of digital styles, the images include references to space, mortality and molecular structure. Futurism and sci-fi also appear to play predominant roles in the overriding theme. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the series is that no two designs are the same, each is wildly individual in its offering.
The 23-year-old designer originally started posting daily renders on Behance, to help improve his 3D workflow and explore the possibilities of Cinema 4D and Octane render, amongst other tools in digital manipulation. However, since then he has received much praise from the art and design community for his vibrant work.
Alongside being a designer, Hodas is also a DJ. Check out more of his designs on Instagram. Or take a look at his Behance profile.
