Posters by Rui Ma illustrate eight ways we can protect biodiversity

A Chinese designer based in Los Angeles, Rui Ma's work incorporates bold, dynamic typography and illustration, along with energetic colours.

She strongly believes visual communication design through different kinds of media can help solve problems and change the world. And here's her own recent contribution to that very effort.

Eight Ways to Protect Biodiversity is a series of poster designs crafted to raise the awareness of conserving biodiversity. Her suggestions, which appear in both English and Chinese, include: 'Help the Bees', 'Protect Nature', 'Plant a Plant', 'Support Farms', 'Conserve Water', 'Recycle and Reuse', 'Take a Walk' and 'Visit Botanical Gardens'.
