Cute illustrations of an elderly couple on their holidays

This series is by Italian illustrator Davide Bonazzi. The images follow an elderly couple on their holiday in the big city. After arriving on a coach, they take a look at the sights, ride on the underground and enjoy an ice-cream.

Bonazzi mixes digital techniques with textures of scanned found objects, in order to give his bold conceptual illustrations a warm and evocative atmosphere. In 2013 he was selected as one of 100 top artists by Creative Quarterly Journal. To see more of his work, visit Bonazzi's website.
