Brosmind profiles its fraternal bond in Working with a Brother exhibition

Working with a sibling can be both a challenging and rewarding experience. The Mingarro brothers, Juan and Alejandro’s artistic bond has been reflected throughout their childhood in Binéfar. After years of drawing comics, building vehicles for their action figures and shooting movies together, in 2006, they pushed their creative boundaries further, founding Brosmind studio in Barcelona.

Incorporating a fresh and optimistic stylistic approach, Brosmind blends fantasy and humour, combining commercial illustration with personal projects involving multiple disciplines, such as sculpture, music or video.

Their latest project ‘Brosmind: Working with a Brother’ included the retrospective reflections on the importance of the fraternal bond that exists between the male siblings.

The exhibition described how their present work can be considered an extrapolation of their childhood creations, alongside profiling the positives and negatives of their working relationship. Check out the images from their exhibition in Huesca, Spain. And discover more at brosmind.com.
